As a not-for-profit Catholic health care ministry, Providence embraces its responsibility to provide for the needs of the communities we serve. That is why in 2007 in the Northwest Washington Service Area, we provided nearly $13 million in free care to our patients in need, as part of our total community benefit of more than $42 million.
