Brief History
Marianwood was founded in 1986 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace and purchased by the Providence Health System in 1996. As the only nonprofit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in the Issaquah/Sammamish area, our founding mission which continues to this day is to serve the poor and vulnerable, especially the elderly and medically frail.
