Medical Support Groups in Montana

We design our support groups to provide people with various medical conditions and their families an opportunity to share their experiences with a group of peers who can relate and identify with them. Support group meetings may differ each session depending on the attendees needs. Some meetings are educational with special guest speakers while others are more social. Regardless of the structure, each support group meeting is intended to be positive, educational and enjoyable.

We welcome patients, caregivers and family to join the following support groups:

  • Cardiac Hardy Hearts: 1st Wednesday of the Month
  • Pulmonary Free Breathers:  2nd Wednesday of the Month
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS) We Got Nerve: 3rd Wednsday of the Month
  • Diabetes What's Your Sugar: 4th Thursday of the Month
  • Grief You're Not Alone: 1st Monday of the Month

All support groups are held at noon in the Owen Conference Room on the 2nd Floor at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. If you have any questions please call the supportive care team at 406-883-8341.

We understand there are many people facing medical conditions who feel alone. We may be able to help facilitate or coordinate a new support group that is not currently available through Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. Please call the supportive care team to discuss opportunities at 406-883- 8341.
