From Our Chief Executive
Providence Tarzana Medical Center has been providing quality health care to residents in the San Fernando Valley since 1973. During this time, we have always strived to meet the health care needs of our community with compassion and excellence. Providing clinical excellence means that we focus on the needs of our community not just inside our hospital, but into their homes and neighborhoods through community outreach programs.
Quality care is our number one goal, and we have been consistently ranked among the best in the nation for heart attack care, treatment of stroke, maternity care, gastrointestinal services and women's healthcare. Our vascular care is second to none, with the only certified carotid stenting program in the area. Our neonatal intensive care and pediatric programs have special certifications, making us the only hospital in the Valley that can perform surgery on these small, but important members of our community.
Our physicians and nurses take pride in their commitment to care for our youngest and most fragile patients, all the way to our most distinguished of senior members. At Providence Tarzana Medical Center, we care for the whole person as we embrace and live our core values of: compassion, excellence, justice, respect and stewardship.
Should you find you require our services, know that you will be met with capable, caring hands.
Sincerely,
Dale Surowitz
Chief Executive
