Surgery

At Providence Tarzana Medical Center, there's a reason some of the San Fernando Valley's finest physicians choose to perform surgery at their local hospital. We provide the compassionate care that can be found in a community hospital with the technological sophistication and expertise that may be found at larger facilities.

Providence Tarzana Medical Center has the latest surgical equipment in place, including minimally invasive endoscopic technology, a "PACS" image and communication system in the operating suites to eliminate the need for old-fashioned film, and Faxitron specimen radiography for x-rays. Providence Tarzana is one of a few select hospitals specializing in transfusion-free surgical techniques, a benefit to patients who require transfusion-free surgery for reasons of faith, as well as patients and healthcare practitioners who are looking at the additional health advantages of bloodless surgery. Additionally, the Providence Tarzana Pathology Department has special protocols in place for the proper handling of diagnostic specimens that meet or exceed the national standards for accurate diagnosis.

Your Comfort is Our Priority

We're here to help, to make sure you recover as quickly and easily as possible.
