The Gathering Place 

The mission of The Gathering Place is to encourage healing, health, strength and confidence in those who have experienced the death of a loved one. We offer a variety of services, including support groups that specialize in bereavement services for adults, teens and children. It is staffed by licensed professionals, graduate-level mental health interns, and trained volunteers.

Drop-In Center: Our Drop-in Center provides short-term bereavement counseling, educational materials (such as books, brochures, handouts and videos) and referrals. Please visit the center at any time during our business hours, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Counseling: We provide short-term bereavement crisis support and grief counseling. For clients needing longer-term intervention, we assist with referrals to those resources.

Outreach, Education, Training, Seminars: We provide grief support and education for teachers and classrooms, instruction on surviving holidays and other important days and special topic seminars.
