Dedicated to the Community: 2010 Annual Report
To say that this past year has been eventful at Providence TrinityCare Hospice is an understatement.
Most significantly, Hospice cared for more patients and their families than ever before. In particular, our team provided compassionate services to a greater number of infants and youngsters through TrinityKids Care, our program for children with life-limiting conditions. With our participation in a pilot project to care for children in Orange County whose families otherwise would not be able to afford palliative care services, we expect to serve even more patients. This past year also saw a dramatic rise in activity at Hospice’s The Gathering Place, our program that offers counseling and support groups to children, teens and adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
