Providence Holy Cross Cancer Center

The Providence Cancer Centers offer patients nationally recognized programs and provide the most advanced technologies available for treating cancer, including state-of-the-art equipment and one of the largest and most qualified medical, surgical and radiation oncology staffs in Southern California.

Our full spectrum of oncology care includes cancer prevention, cancer detection, cancer diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment, minimally invasive surgery, clinical research, rehabilitation and continuing education and support for our cancer patients and family.

The Providence Cancer Centers also have a respected research center. Our distinguished team of oncologists, scientists, nurses and staff is actively involved in groundbreaking cancer research. Our physicians include national leaders of the American College of Radiology, Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), and American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology with access to the latest, most advanced research protocols available from the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Program, the Southwest Oncology Group, the Gynecologic Oncology Group, and the RTOG. The team participates in nationally recognized clinical trials to continually provide improved care and research related to cancer treatment and prevention. This means our patients have access to a number of therapies not generally available to the public.

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center has an established reputation for excellence in cancer care, with five-year survival rates in breast, colorectal, ovarian and prostate cancer that exceed national averages. We are expanding our expertise offered to residents of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys by forming a relationship with the UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology. This relationship gives Providence Holy Cross patients access to even higher-quality clinical care, cutting-edge radiation therapy developed through decades of cancer research and innovation at UCLA, and access to more clinical trials. The UCLA Radiation Oncology team, providing professional physician services at the Providence Holy Cross Cancer Centers in Mission Hills and Santa Clarita, brings new state-of-the-art technologies and protocols ensuring the best possible care for our patients.
