Palliative Care & Pre-Hospice Support

Pre-Hospice Support

“The goal of palliative care is to prevent and relieve suffering and to support the best possible quality of life for patients and their families, regardless of the stage of the disease or the need for other therapies. Palliative care is both a philosophy of care and an organized, highly structured system for delivering care.”

Providence Hospice of Seattle believes in supporting families and patients wherever they are in their life journey. In this capacity, we developed programs that offer comfort-focused services, often called “Palliative Care,” to King County residents facing life-limiting illnesses. We provide information, resources, and support to help plan for anticipated life changes and make informed decisions about care.
