You may direct your gift to a specific fund or program area. Some of the current funds are listed below. Contact the Foundation office directly to discuss additional opportunities.
Marianwood Fund
Your gift will be used in the area of greatest need for Providence Marianwood. This may be uncompensated costs of care for residents who have outlived their personal financial resources. No one in need is ever turned away from Providence Marianwood due to limited finances or lack of ability to pay. Or it may be used to provide a therapy, program, service or piece of equipment that is needed. Our mission is to serve the poor and vulnerable through our compassionate care.
Funds for individual units at Marianwood
Long term skilled nursing, dementia/alzheimer's care unit or rehabilitation care are individual funds to which you may direct your donation.
Pastoral Care fund
At Providence Marianwood, we care for the body, mind and spirit of our residents. Pastoral Care is an exceptional program that provides support to our residents, their families and friends and to our staff and volunteers. Our chaplains also provide extra compassionate care for residents who have reached the end of their lives, supporting them and their family and friends through this process.
Resident Activities fund
Harley days, summer picnic, birthdays, holidays, every day there is at least one and usually several activities going on for the residents at Providence Marianwood. Arts, crafts, music, Qi Gong - the list is comprehensive and the residents value and enjoy these opportunities.
Nurse/Caregiver Education fund
Providing for the ongoing education of our staff, this fund celebrates the excellence of care being provided now and lays the groundwork for our staff to grow and bring more to Marianwood through improving their skills and education.
