Hospice Hearts Luncheon

Cruzin' to Colby                                                                                                              
Classic Car Show ~ Memorial Day Weekend 2012.  Organized by the Seattle Rod-Tiques, guests enjoy a Classic Show-n-Shine, Colby cruise, and 1950’s themed dance.  Proceeds benefit Providence Hospice and Camp Fire USA.   For more information please visit www.cruzintocolby.com.

Angel Ride for Hospice
A motorcycle Poker run scheduled for July 2012.  This ride raises funds for our Carousel Pediatric Program that benefits children 0-18 years. More details to follow soon........

22nd Annual Brunch by the Bay

Adult Grief Support Groups 
Grief support groups are always forming.  We offer many types of loss groups throughout the year. Please call 425-261-4807 for the most current schedule.
Safe Passages:  A general loss support group offered both afternoons and evenings.
Legacies:  A grief support group for adult women who have lost their mothers.
Broken Hearts:  A support group for those affected by the loss of a child.
Men Grieve Too:  A six week group, just for men, who have experienced a loss.
Heritage:  A six week group for those who experienced the loss of a parent.

Soul Survivor
An ongoing drop-in support group for those who have lost a spouse.  Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Providence Hospice, 2731 Wetmore Ave, Everett.

Caregiver Support Group
A drop-in group for caregivers to get support and share experiences.  Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday, 6:30-8:00pm at Providence Regional Medical Center/Colby Campus, MOB, Mt. St. Helens room

The Newly Bereaved Workshop
This workshop, for adults, is an introduction to understanding the grief process.  Topics to be discussed include what to expect in grief, different styles of grieving and how grief effects families. Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month, 6-7:30 p.m. at Providence Hospice, 2731 Wetmore Ave, Everett WA 98201 – Conference room B – 1st floor.

Kids and Teens Standing Together 
A program specifically designed for children and teens (grades K-12) who have experienced a loss through death.  This is a safe place and time for bereaved children and teens to meet share and be with others who have also lost a loved one.  There is a group for parents that meets at the same time.  Meets the 3rd Saturday of the month–(during the school year Oct–June. (Lunch is provided).   No fee for service.  Registration required, call 425-261-4807.

Camp Erin ~ August 2012
A bereavement camp for kids and teens (grades K-12).  No fee to attend. However, qualification and registration are required for more information please call 425-261-4807.

New Volunteer Information Sessions  
3rd Wednesday of every month; alternating between afternoon and evening sessions - Providence Hospice and Home Care, 2731 Wetmore Avenue ~ Everett, WA 98201 in

Prerequisite ~ must attend a "New Volunteer Information Session"

Thursdays from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m., January 12th, 19th, 26th AND February 2nd & 9th or
Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. January 28th AND February 11th

April - May 2012 ~ 5 week session
Thursdays 12:00-5:00 p.m., April 26th AND May 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th
Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., May 12th AND 26th

July 2012 ~ 5 week session
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-9:00 p.m., July 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 26th, 31st
AND August 2nd & 9th OR Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. July 28th & August 11th

October 2012 ~ 5 week session
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:00-7:30 p.m., October 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd & 25th OR
Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., October 13th, 20th & 27th

2012 Vigil Training for Patient Care Volunteers 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Prerequisite ~ must complete "Core Training"
