Tower Art Program

The Marshall and Katherine Cymbaluk Medical Tower at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett contains not only some of the world’s most advanced medical equipment, but also some of the Northwest’s most beautiful art, from paintings to photographs to ceramics.

Why Is Art Important?
Art doesn’t just look good—it also helps to reduce anxiety, fatigue and stress for patients and staff. By creating a welcoming, uplifting environment, art has been shown to have a measurable impact on patient and staff satisfaction in hospitals.

Spotlight on Northwest Artists and Nature
The art in the Cymbaluk Medical Tower features the soothing colors and images of the Pacific Northwest, bringing the feeling of nature inside.

Large, original pieces created by Northwest artists are featured in the main lobbies and concourses. In many cases, these pieces were created specifically for the Tower.

The original art includes these or similar pieces by these local artists:

"Sleeping Beauty" by Rosemary S. Antel (ground floor)

"Nightmusic" by Carl and Sandra Bryant (main floor)

"Sete 11" by Stephen Yates (main floor)

"Glass Basket" by James Madison (main floor)

"Bamboo Assemblage" by Peter Gallagher (main floor)
