Quality Strategic Plan
Our Quality Strategic Plan is our guide for delivering safe, quality care at every Providence facility. The Quality Strategic Plan is updated annually by clinical, administrative and executive leadership to make sure we that we are continuously improving to meet the needs of our patients and their families.
The goals of our quality strategic plan are:
- We cultivate a safe environment that promotes accountability and eliminates preventable injuries and deaths
- We provide reliable healthcare delivery to achieve superior clinical outcomes
- We are transparent about quality, safety, price and satisfaction
- We are continuously improving systems and structures to support achievement of our quality vision
- We vigorously promote leadership accountability and governance oversight of quality and patient safety
- We measure our success by the following criteria:
- All Providence facilities are achieving 90th percentile performance on national quality measures
- There are no preventable deaths or injuries
- Patients, health plan members and residents rate us as providing the best care and service in their community
- Physicians rate Providence as providing the best care and service
- Our employees rate us as providing the best care and service
- Our quality and safety improvement and efforts enable us to grow and serve additional communities
