Epic Electronic Health Record Implementation
Across Providence we are on an Epic journey to connect care teams and patients through a powerful electronic health record, giving easy access to comprehensive health information anywhere in the galaxy. Epic gives Providence an integrated suite of health care software that supports all of the functions related to patient care including registration, scheduling, clinical documentation and billing from a single medical record.
Our goal is a place where patients receive more personalized service centered on their health and personal goals; and where care teams use an entire system of knowledge at light speed allowing more time to know, care for and ease each patient's way.
On December 5, 2011 Providence St. Peter Family Medicine, Providence East Olympia Family Medicine and Providence Women's Health Clinic, all located in the Providence St. Peter Professional Building launched with Epic Electronic Health Records.
On February 6, 2012 the rest of the Providence Medical Group Primary Care Clinics went live on Epic. These clinics include:
