Support for our Community

Providence Health & Services is much more than a network of health care, social service and education ministries. We are a community partner—and have been for more than 150 years. We believe in providing for the needs of the communities we serve because it is our responsibility as a not-for-profit, Catholic health ministry.

As an actively engaged partner, our community benefit efforts are always shaped around the specific needs of each community.

Important Documents

Community Benefit is the measurable contribution made by Providence to improve the overall health and well-being of our local communities, with partiular concern for the poor and vulnerable persons. This helps us carry out our Mission to reveal God's love for all. We focus on efforts to demonstrate collaboration while maintaining a standardization provided by the federal government.

We conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment every three years to help determine areas to focus our efforts. If you feel that your organizations has a project that would benefit from our Community Benefit Funds and is in line with our Mission, Needs Assessment and Plan, please review the guidelines and sumbit an application.
