Providence Health Care supports important community organizations through our community benefit donations. - Catholic Charities
The House of Charity homeless shelter in Spokane will remain open through the summer of 2011 after an outpouring of donations from the community, including $20,000 from Providence Health Services’ Community Benefits program.
- Christ Clinic
Christ Clinic serves those who need medical help, but do not have insurance.
- Daybreak Youth Services
Daybreak Youth Services provides treatment for youth troubled by very serious chemical dependency and mental health challenges.
- Hospice of Spokane
Hospice care is a holistic approach to end-of-life care, addressing the medical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of the terminally ill person and their loved ones.
- Project Access
Project Access helps low income, uninsured residents of our community get the medical assistance they need, regardless of ability to pay.
- Second Harvest Food Bank
Providence supports Second Harvest Food Bank, which provides nearly 1.5 million pounds of food each month to help feed more than 32,500 people in our region.
- Women’s & Children’s Free Restaurant
These facilities help meet a community need by promoting the emotional and psychological healing of children who have witnessed traumatic, life-altering events such as domestic violence.
- YWCA and YMCA of Spokane
The Women’s & Children’s Free Restaurant provides meals for hungry women and children and provides nutrition education to hundreds of families.
