The Providence Health Care Foundation funds a variety of programs that help ensure quality health care in our region and ease the way for our patients.

Ensuring World-class Health Care, Close to Home
Welcome to Providence Health Care Foundation, Eastern Washington, and a new chapter in the rich history of providing state-of-the-art health care to anyone who enters our doors.
This year marks a new beginning for what was once three separate foundations: Sacred Heart Medical Center, Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital and Holy Family Hospital. Over the past few years, Providence Health Care has worked to be identified as one regional medical facility. Providence Health Care supports the operational function of the Foundation so that every dime you so generously give goes back to honoring your passion or loved one.
During 2011, the board members of the three Foundations voted to unite as a single entity to better allocate our resources. As a united organization it is our goal to create a more visible presence in the community and to better share the many stories of both caring for the poor and vulnerable while providing world-class health care right here in Eastern Washington.
With more and more of our family and friends finding themselves without medical insurance, the financial support provided by our Foundation becomes even greater.
In 2011 we provided more than $2.5 million in grants within our hospitals. The need for 2012 is three times that amount.
We know that you have many opportunities to give and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing Providence Health Care Foundation. We are forever grateful.

How you can help
The Foundation accepts many types of gifts, including grants from private foundations, planned and major gifts, proceeds from special events and annual giving.
We are located on the on the fourth floor of the Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. To speak to a foundation representative, please call (509) 474-4917, or stop by the office. We’d love to talk to you!
