Providence TrinityCare Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice recognized in the Southern California region and the nation for its strong commitment to quality end-of-life patient care. Providence TrinityCare Hospice, the oldest and largest not-for-profit hospice program in the Greater Los Angeles area, provides a special way of caring for people with life-limiting illnesses that focuses on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the whole person. The Hospice has five clinical teams and a staff of more than 180 dedicated professionals who provide compassionate end-of-life care and services to more than 30,000 patients and families in our community.
Providence TrinityCare Hospice has received special commendations from the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). ] in 2002, 2005 and 2008, in recognition of our development and support of innovative programs. These include such programs as The Gathering Place, a Center for Loss and Life Transition in Redondo Beach offering supportive services to those in the community suffering grief and loss, and TrinityKids Care, a program offering hospice and palliative care services to children and their families. TrinityKids Care is the only dedicated pediatric hospice and palliative care program in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Providence TrinityCare Hospice also partners with all five Providence medical centers in the Southern California region to provide palliative and hospice care consultations to patients in hospitals and long-term care settings.
